Howard J. Rosenthal
Chief Operating Officer/On-Air Talent
Howard J. Rosenthal was appointed to the position of Chief Operating Officer of the Mr. Food Brand in 2010 by company founder, the late Art Ginsburg. He joined the company in 1994 as Vice President of Creative Business Development and is responsible for the daily operations and creative control of all departments of the company including TV production, online and traditional publishing, marketing and public relations and fostering licensing and spokespersonship business relationships. As part of the growth of the brand, in early 2012 Howard joined Art Ginsburg on TV for segments direct from the Mr. Food Test Kitchen; and is now the on-air personality for the Mr. Food Test Kitchen television segments. With a Restaurant Management and Professional Chef degree from the State University of New York; Howard brings a demonstrated track record of strong leadership and a solid vision for the company’s continued growth. Prior to joining Mr. Food, he and his wife, Patty owned and operated their own successful catering company in Syracuse, New York for more than 16 years.
Chief Executive Officer
Steve Ginsburg, Chief Executive Officer of the Mr. Food Brand, provides the company with global guidance, managing contractual issues as well as overseeing our many TV station partnerships. He continues to be instrumental in making the Mr. Food Brand a forerunner in the marketplace with one of the longest running syndicated shows in television history. In his many years as CEO, he has received widespread recognition for his leadership. Steve earned his degree in Restaurant Management from the State University of New York/Cobleskill. He is actively involved in many local not -for -profit organizations.
Test Kitchen Director
Patty has been a valued member of the Mr. Food team since 1994 coordinating an in-house team of creative home economists who develop and test recipes following the quick & easy philosophy of the Mr. Food Brand. With her extensive food background, she has overseen the development of thousands of recipes for the Mr. Food TV show, as well as for all of the Mr. Food & Mr. Food Test Kitchen branded cookbook titles and many specialty licensed mini-cookbooks. In 2008 she instituted the Mr. Food triple-tested program, ensuring that all Test Kitchen recipes are triple-tested, tasted and tweaked to guarantee they earn an Ooh It’s So Good seal of approval!! Patty has a BS degree in Criminal Justice from the State University of New York/Niagra.
Special Projects Coordinator
Jodi has been special projects coordinator for multiple divisions of the Mr. Food Brand since 1999. With a BS degree in Advertising from the University of Florida and an extensive business marketing background, she oversees all special projects and team members involved in the divisions associated with them, to ensure that they meet the quality and standards of the Mr. Food Brand. Jodi additionally works with clients and vendors on new endeavors and partnerships as part of the brands continuous growth.
TV Viewer & Station Relations
Jaime has been a member of the Mr. Food team for more than 8 years and is always ready to roll up her sleeves for any project. Jaime studied theatre arts in college prior to entering the workforce where she acquired an extensive background in corporate recruiting and customer service. Jaime supervises our station relations and customer service divisions as well as provides support for our online and broadcast departments.
Kelly is a gifted photographer who brings an incredible sense of energy to all divisions of the Mr. Food Brand. Having joined the company in 2010 to bring her talents as an inventive food photographer and food stylist, her high quality tempting images can be found throughout every division of the company. Kelly has a degree in Photography from the Fort Lauderdale Art Institute. Her client portfolio includes King World Productions, Mary Kay Cosmetics, Marriott Hotels, Clinique Cosmetics and many others. In addition to making all of us and our food look good, she still manages her private photography business in south Florida.
Executive Producer / Director of Business Development
The Mr. Food Test Kitchen welcomed Amy to the staff in May 2012, and before that she owned a Mr. Food no-fuss Meals franchise. However, Amy’s passion for good food has been lifelong. Before joining Mr. Food, she worked for 10 years in the beer industry as an office manager and sales analyst with national accounts—and she still found time to offer in-home cooking parties and tutoring to struggling beginner cooks. This mom believes that to feed the soul, you have to serve from the heart, and she regularly cooks for family and friends. What else does she believe? Perfectly cooked bacon will be served at every meal in heaven (calorie free, of course).
Merly is a graduate from Florida International University who holds a B.A. in English. Her passion for food and writing brought her to the Mr. Food Test Kitchen in February 2014. Prior to joining the team, Merly worked as a freelance writer on several different projects. She believes that food is an adventure worth sharing (and writing about)!
Yolanda’s love for all things food brought her to Mr. Food. She works closely with the Mr. Food Test Kitchen team on the production of our television segments and also serves as the company’s brand ambassador by promoting growth and increasing awareness about the Mr. Food brand to everyone that crosses her path. She holds a B.S. in Public Relations from Florida A&M University, and an M.S. in Hospitality Management from Florida International University. Prior to joining the Mr. Food team, she worked in publishing as a publicist and later as a media coordinator in the world of broadcast. Yolanda is a self-proclaimed foodie whose motto is “Everything is better with cookies.”
As a member of our editorial team, Ana helps connect our viewers to the Mr. Food Test Kitchen brand through our website and social media outlets. She joined the team in 2015 after studying English and Spanish at Florida Atlantic University. Ana loves to travel so that she can learn how different cultures cook and eat and she starts every morning with a cup of espresso.
Brenna first joined the staff of the Mr. Food Test Kitchen in 2012 working as a script writer and assisting in production of the brand’s television segment; however, her background is a decade’s worth of writing and editing for print magazines—covering all aspects of the lifestyle umbrella from food and travel to health and beauty. Her current role at MFTK is in keeping everyone in the industry up to date on the company’s latest endeavors via corporate newsletters, releases and public relations. A former barista, Brenna has been known to make lattes for the entire office and is rarely seen without a cup of coffee in hand.
Carol and her team ensure that the Mr. Food library of recipes adhere to the Quick & Easy philosophy of the Mr. Food Brand. Her editorial expertise and attention to detail is an asset to all divisions of the Mr. Food Brand. Carol has a BA degree in History from the State University of New York at Albany. She was a regional executive director for the American Heart Association, prior to joining the Mr. Food team.
Director / Executive Producer
Dave oversees the technical aspects of the nationally syndicated Mr. Food Test Kitchen television segment. During his extensive career he has been involved in a multitude of roles in televison production from Programming Director to Director of Photography and everything in between.
His expertise is now being leant to steer the Mr. Food Test Kitchen TV segments into the future.
Dan has been an integral part of our post production editing since 2001, always keeping abreast of the latest technological advances that the industry has realized. His knowledge and hands-on experience continue to bring our segment to life on a daily basis.
